I became interested in civil engineering because I wanted to design and build structures that improve communities, and I had a high school prof who influenced me by inspiring me to pursue this path.

My favorite quote is, 'Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.' This quote inspires me to find joy in my work and pursuits.
