Message from the President
Dear Valued Members of the PICE USA Chapter,
I am honored to serve as your President for 2025 and immensely grateful for your unwavering support and commitment to our community. In the last seven years, we have launched impactful projects, offered scholarships, built solid collaborations with professionals and civil engineering students, hosted enlightening webinars, and celebrated our achievements at various events. These milestones reflect our shared dedication and the remarkable strength of our Chapter.
As we look ahead, I am inspired to continue building on our successes while enhancing and expanding our initiatives. This year, we will focus on three key objectives aligned with PICE National's powerful theme, “Empowering Membership, Promoting Specialization: Building a Stronger PICE for the Preferred Future,”.
-
Welfare of Our Members: We aim for a 10-20% increase in membership within the next 12 months by enhancing member benefits, engagement, and renewal processes. Strengthen member involvement through regular events, networking opportunities, and meaningful participation in organizational activities.
-
Community Involvement: We strive to create a more connected and collaborative network in the USA, internationally, and the Philippines and position our organization as a leading authority within the industry.
-
Financial Stability: We are committed to ensuring financial stability to support our key programs and operational expenses, optimizing resources, and exploring new funding avenues.
Together, we can achieve remarkable success. If you have suggestions for enhancing member welfare, increasing participation, or strengthening our professional reputation, please reach out—we value your insights. Your involvement and volunteerism are critical to our growth, and your skills can significantly impact us.
Thank you for your enduring support and being an essential part of our PICE USA Family.
Warm regards,
Irene Paala Owens, PE, PMP
